La Ràpita

Sant Carles de la Ràpita is a town in the Terres de l’Ebre located south of the Natural Park del Delta del Ebro (region Montsià, Catalonia). Thanks to its emplacement, the new Water Sports Centre offers a perfect mix of sea and mountains. Therefore, it’s a must for all tourists to visit the Delta and its beautiful surroundings. The Alfacs Bay, closed by the Punta de la Banya and the Trabucador, is a natural area with 5.894 ha; an average depth of 4 meters and a maximum depth of 6 meters, and it‘s one of the most
important natural ports in Europe.

In La Ràpita and the Ebro Delta we enjoy one of the best climate in Catalonia. The temperatures are smooth throughout the year, without great swings, and the strong winds almost non-existent thanks to the Montsià mountain range, which acts as an orographic screen. All in all, it forms a unique microclimate that allows us to enjoy our destination every month of the year.

The climatic bonanza, as well as the exceptionality of the Alfacs Bay, of calm, shallow waters, ideal for playing with the sea, makes any outdoor activity, including nautical activities, possible to be developed throughout the year.
